Terms and Conditions for the "1 IDEA 1 World International Innovation, Design, and Startup Competition
Welcome to the "1 IDEA 1 World International Innovation, Design, and Startup Competition" (hereinafter referred to as "the Competition"). By registering for the Competition, participants (hereinafter referred to as "Participant" or "You") agree to the following terms and conditions (the "Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before registering. Participation in the Competition is considered as acceptance of these Terms.
- Eligibility
The Competition is open to individuals and teams worldwide who meet the qualification criteria as outlined on the Competition's registration form. Participants under the age of 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian to enter the Competition.
- Registration
Participants must complete the registration form in full and submit any required documentation or information as specified. Incomplete registrations may not be considered.
- No Refund Policy
The Competition operates on a no refund policy. Once registration is completed and the registration fee is paid, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
- Cancellation Policy
Once qualified for the Competition, Participants cannot cancel their registration. Qualification is determined based on the discretion of the Competition organizers and any review panels or judges appointed by them.
- Intellectual Property
Participants retain ownership of their ideas and inventions. However, by registering, Participants grant the Competition organizers the right to use project titles, descriptions, images, and other related materials for promotional purposes.
- Compliance
Participants agree to comply with all local, national, and international laws applicable to their participation in the Competition.
- Limitation of Liability
The Competition organizers, sponsors, and affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the Competition or participation in it.
- Disqualification
The Competition organizers reserve the right to disqualify any Participant who breaches these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or is deemed to have acted in an unethical or harmful manner.
- Changes to the Competition
The Competition organizers reserve the right to cancel, modify, or postpone the Competition without notice. Participants will not be entitled to any form of compensation in such cases.
- Decision of the Organizers
The decisions of the Competition organizers and any judging panel are final and binding in all matters related to the Competition.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the Competition is hosted. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country.
